For more than 50 years, InterHab has been working to improve the lives of Kansans with intellectual and developmental disabilities (“IDD”). In 1969, an alliance of community service professionals and skilled family advocates formed the Kansas Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (“KARF”).

Be Safe With Me.

The Be Safe With Me campaign shares the stories of Allie, Carol, John, and Stephanie who encourage direct support professionals to get their COVID-19 vaccinations, and to be healthy and safe alongside them. The campaign also features a direct support professional and Dr. Lee Norman, Kansas Secretary of Health and Environment.The campaign is sponsored by KCDD, Sunflower Health Plan, and InterHab.
